TGIF, y’all! What are your plans for the weekend? I’ll be working on getting this new apartment organized while sipping on some wine, and hopefully some more brainstorming for improving this little blog space of mine 🙂 (please let me know of any suggestions!).
Fisherman’s Bastion in Buda
Oh Budapest, you were a dream! Although we’re still recovering from our jet lag and sun burns, I couldn’t wait another day to write about our wonderful trip to Eastern Europe.
We made many memories in Budapest, thanks to our travel company, Boutique Journeys, and our own research and planning, but our favorite activity of the trip BY FAR was our river boat cruise along the Danube River.
This winter I spent a week traipsing about London. I hadn’t visited this illustrious city since I left in 2008 after living there for several months. Despite the dreary weather I had a delightful time taking in the sites and sounds of my old stomping grounds. One of the highlights of my trip was visiting Sketch, an outlandish tea parlor and restaurant.
